The Ohio State Buckeyes suffered their first blemish of the season this past weekend. Before the Big Ten Championship Game, many felt they would be the team to beat heading into the College Football Playoff.

Urban Meyer has some strong opinions on the matchup between the Texas Longhorns and Ohio State Buckeyes next season.

Ohio State is heading to the Cotton Bowl for the third consecutive year. This time, it's for a College Football Playoff quarterfinal on New Year's Eve against either Miami or Texas A&M.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have always been big, but this season it crossed into a different universe. The program not only attracted huge crowds to the stadiums, but it also pulled the entire country into its orbit,

"It's just an aura about it that you can't describe until you get on the field," Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore said about Ohio State rivalry.

Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia and Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin are the finalists for the Heisman Trophy for the top player in college football.

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day took full responsibility for the loss and made no excuses.
