The Calaveras County Office of Emergency Services says it is due to the rising waters and out of an abundance of caution.
An evacuation warning was issued in the Valley Springs area of Calaveras County due to rising water levels, officials said.
A passerby saw the smoke coming from the chimney and called 911, while the occupants of the home relayed that they had no idea the house was on fire.
