Hearing Voices - Auditory Hallucination

Narcolepsy often causes hallucinations when falling asleep or waking up. They’re called hypnogogic & hypnopomopic hallucinations. The ones I get while falling asleep are usually someone like, shouting a random word or my name. I’ve gotten so used to this my whole life that it barely registers anymore… I can tell it’s not real even though I “hear” it 🤷‍♀️ Auditory hallucinations are the most common hallucination of ANY kind, for any neurological or psychotic condition.
